49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick will not face any charges stemming from an incident in Miami, reports CSNBayArea.com.

Kaepernick, along with 49ers receiver Quinton Patton and Seahawks receiver Ricardo Lockette, were considered persons of interest in a suspicious incident by the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office. But after reviewing the evidence available, Kaepernick will not be prosecuted.

A woman that the three NFL players were with on May 28 ended up in the hospital and stated she might have been sexually assaulted, prompting an investigation.

"No charges, no indication that a criminal act was committed," said Ed Griffith of the State Attorney's Office, via the website. "She was alleging that she may have been the victim of a sexual assault, and there was no evidence."

Kaepernick stated previously that he did nothing wrong that night. 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh went a step further, telling reporters at one point that the only victim in this matter is Kaepernick's reputation.
