Kicker still has not signed franchise tender. Terry McCormick
The Jacksonville Jaguars and kicker Josh Scobee have not had any contract dialogue in months, according to the Florida Times-Union.
Scobee was given the franchise tag by the Jaguars, which means he and club have until July 16 to complete a long-term deal or play for the franchise tender of $2.88 million.
“Josh has asked me not to discuss specifics of negotiations other than what has already been said," Scobee's agent Ken Harris said. "That is, we had some talks early on involving proposals from both sides, but haven’t heard back from them in months. We know our last proposal is very fair.’’
