Chicago Bears quarterback Josh McCown doesn't plan to retire and wants to keep playing as he heads to free agency, according to ESPN.

McCown, 34, is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent after a standout backup stint when Jay Cutler was injured.

McCown could return as Cutler's backup again.

Or he could be of interest to several teams that need an established quarterback like McCown.

The Tennessee Titans and Minnesota Vikings could both use McCown.

McCown had 1,829 yards, 13 touchdowns and one interception in eight games last season.
