With the deadline today for franchised players to reach a long-term deal or play under the tender amount of $9.5 million, says Tom Curran of CSSNE.com.
The deadline is 4 p.m. EDT, and Curran described the talks as "stagnant" and "non-existent," not exactly words of encouragement when considering the prospects of a deal.
"Talks remain stagnant and by stagnant I mean non-existent," Curran said.
