Even the boys in Vegas think Cam Newton is destined to be a Carolina Panther.

With just one week to go until the start of the first round, has released three new draft prop bets for us to dissect. As always, I’ll release my “Betting the draft” spectacular next Thursday, but we might as well order an appetizer before the main course arrives.

Let’s take a look at what is currently offering:

Cam Newton: What Will his Draft Pick Position Be?

UNDER: 1.5 (-160)
OVER: 1.5 (+130)

As I mentioned last week, I’m not sold on Newton to the Panthers. I think Carolina is bluffing on the former Heisman Trophy winner and in reality, wants to trade down. Love the odds here, so I’m going OVER.

Number of quarterbacks taken in Round One?

OVER: 3.5 (-125)
UNDER: 3.5 (-105)

Newton and Gabbert are locks, so we need two more signal-callers to fly off the board in order for the OVER to hit. Mallett, Dalton, Locker, Kaepernick and even Ponder are all possibilities. I think three quarterbacks in the first round is a smash and four is within striking distance. Let’s roll the dice and go OVER.

Mark Ingram: Will he get drafted in the first round?

YES: (-145)
NO: (+115)

This is the weakest running back class in years, but it only takes one team to make Ingram’s dream a reality. Slipping into the second round is certainly a possibility, but I don’t see it happening. Let’s lay down some cheese on YES.

What are you guys taking?
