Ohio State suspends two starters

Ohio State suspended tight end Jake Stoneburner and left tackle Jack Mewhort indefinitely after the seniors were arrested early Saturday and charged with misdemeanor obstructing official business, according to The Toledo Blade.

Police spotted the two players urinating outside a restaurant in a Columbus suburb.

Per the report, Stoneburner and Mewhort are barred from the team's football facilities and all team activities until their cases are settled. The two players have a June 11 arraignment date.

It doesn't appear that this is too huge of a deal, but first-year Buckeyes head coach Urban Meyer certainly is showing his team that a new boss is in Columbus. It is very likely that another form of internal discipline will be administered for the pair after the suspensions are lifted.
