Rookie was fourth quarterback during off-season work. Terry McCormick
It hasn't taken Brock Osweiler long to move up the Denver Broncos depth chart.
The rookie, according to the Denver Post, is now taking second-team reps at quarterback behind Peyton Manning. During the off-season, Osweiler was the Broncos' fourth quarterback on the depth chart.
But he has quickly passed both Adam Weber and Caleb Hanie in the early portion of camp, at least for the time being. He was the third team quarterback on Friday ahead of Weber and took second-team reps on Saturday in place of Hanie.
Osweiler was the Broncos' second-round pick and is viewed as the heir apparent to Manning in Denver.
