Houston Texans tight end Owen Daniels passed his physical and was activated from the physically unable to perform list today.
Daniels had been recovering from a torn anterior cruciate ligament in is right knee suffered last November.
And the Texans made it official, placing running back Ben Tate and wide receiver Trindon Holliday on injured reserve
Drafted in the second round out of Auburn, Tate has a severe ankle injury.
A sixth-round pick from LSU, Holliday tore ligaments in his left thumb.
Both injuries required surgeries to repair the damage.
The Texans are now down to the NFL roster limit of 75 players.
