Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews injured his right thumb again Sunday.
Matthew got injured sacking Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, the 50th sack of his NFL career.
He didn't return.
Matthew broke his thumb in October and had surgery, missing four games.
"I couldn't give you a timeline," Packers coach Mike McCarthy said. "But I think based off the history of what happened the first time, I'm told it's similar to repeat injury."
