With the arrival of rookie running backs Eddie Lacy and Johnathan Franklin, the Green Bay Packers have released running back Alex Green.

Green was the Packers' leading rusher last season.

The Packers placed running back DuJuan Harris on injured reserve with a knee injury.

The Packers also cut tight end D.J. Williams, who's expected to draw interest from other teams like Green.
