Packers sign Jordy Nelson to four-year, $39 million deal

The Green Bay Packers are signing wide receiver Jordy Nelson to a four-year, $39 million contract that includes an $11.5 million signing bonus, according to ESPN.

"Congrats @JordyRNelson and his wife on new contract," Nelson's agent, Erik Burkhardt wrote on Twitter. "Very well deserved."

The contract averages nearly $10 million per year.

Nelson gets $14.2 million guaranteed.

It's a just reward for one of the best wide receivers in the NFL.
