The Green Bay Packers added veteran quarterback Seneca Wallace days after he was cut by the San Francisco 49ers, according to ESPN.

With Wallace signed, the Packers cut former seventh-round quarterback B.J. Coleman.

Wallace was cut by the 49ers after he took issue with the team signing him to, in his opinion, convince Colt McCoy to take a pay cut.

Vince Young was cut after a bad preseason finale.

"Quite frankly, it probably wasn't fair to Vince," Packers general manager Ted Thompson told reporters. "We threw a lot on his plate, and the fault is probably mine. I probably should have had him in here earlier."
