Interim coach Arians will read message to team today in preparation for Sunday's game. Terry McCormick
Indianapolis Colts coach Chuck Pagano, waging a fight against leukemia in the hospital, has sent an email to his team that interim coach Bruce Arians will read to the team today before Sunday's game with the Green Bay Packers.
"Very private,'' Arians told the Indianapolis Star of the message. "He sent it to every player. Very long. .. When you read it by yourself, it's very emotional. I don't know if I can get it out to the team'
Receiver Reggie Wayne visited Pagano in the hospital on Tuesday and said the coach was in good spirits.
"I sat with him a little while," Wayne said. "He's doing good, man. I was kind of surprised how good he was. He's the same. He was joking.
"He's looking at it straight in the eyes. He understands what's going on. He understands the tough task ahead of him. If there's somebody that can go in and hit this out of the ballpark, it's him."
