Quarterback likely to have to take pay cut to stay in Oakland. Terry McCormick
The Oakland Raiders paid a heavy price to acquire Carson Palmer from the Cincinnati Bengals in 2011, forking over first and second-round draft picks.
Now, according to NFL.com, it is Palmer who may have to pay a price in the form of a pay cut if he wants to remain with the Raiders.
Palmer's future with the Raiders looks uncertain right now, even though the team's only other real option at quarterback right now is unproven Terrell Pryor.
