The Carolina Panthers have a new free safety.
They signed former New Orleans Saints safety Roman Harper to a two-year contract, according to the Charlotte Observer. He's a two-time Pro Bowl selection.
Harper's contract is worth $4.5 million and includes a $1.5 million signing bonus, according to ESPN.
Harper missed seven games due to a knee injury last season before returning.
