New England Patriots cornerback Alfonzo Dennard was given 30 more days in jail for a total of 60 days in jail and another year of probation in Nebraska for his driving under the influence arrest last summer.
He was already sentenced to two years of probation and 30 days in jail for assaulting a police officer outside a bar in 2012. Then, he violated his probation on the suspicion of drunk driving arrest.
His probation was extended from two to three years and his jail term from 30 to 60 days, reporting to the county jail on March 1, 2014. He's barred from drinking or possessing alcohol and his community service was increased from 200 hours to 300 hours.
