Patriots' Spikes fined $21,000 for hit
Linebacker fined for roughness for block on Bills' Chandler. Terry McCormick
The NFL has fined New England Patriots linebacker Brandon Spikes $21,000 for his blindside block on Buffalo Bills tight end Scott Chandler last Sunday, according to the Boston Globe.
Spikes was not penalized on the hit, which came on an interception return by Devin McCourty, but was fined once the league reviewed the play.
