Patriots activate Shiancoe from IR recall
Tight end had been out with hamstring injury. Terry McCormick
The New England Patriots activated tight end Visanthe Shiancoe from injured reserve on Saturday and added him to the 53-man roster.
Shiancoe landed on IR with the designation for recall after being bothered with a hamstring injury that landed him on injured reserve.
Shiancoe, 32, signed as a free agent with teh Patriots in the off-season.
