Patriots cut D.J. Williams, Marcus Forston

The New England Patriots cut tight end D.J. Williams and defensive end Marcus Forston.

The former Arkansas standout played two games for the New England Patriots last year.

He has previous stints with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Green Bay Packers, who drafted him in the fifth round in 2011.

Forston played in three games for the Patriots.

The roster moves create two more roster spots for New England, which has three openings under the 90-player roster limit.
