The New England Patriots have cut veteran offensive lineman R.J. Mattes. Again.

It's the third time they've relesaed him since signing him as a rookie free agent last year out of North Carolina.

He was cut last year twice before being re-signed to the practice squad.

He was with the Patriots on a reserve-future deal this offseason.
