The New England Patriots are hopeful that receiver Aaron Dobson will be ready for training camp, according to a report from MassLive.com.
Dobson had offseason foot surgery, which kept him away from offseason workouts this past spring. But this would be a positive sign for the Patriots if Dobson is able to get a full preseason in.
Dobson started slow at the beginning of his rookie season but came on strong as the season got going. He ended the season with 37 receptions for 519 yards and four touchdowns. However, the foot injury did affect him near the end of the year.
Dobson is expected to play an integral role with the Patriots this season.
