From the Boston Herald:
The New England Patriots have released struggling wide receiver Joey Galloway, the Herald has learned.
Galloway, a 15-year veteran, had been inactive for the last three Patriots games, leading to speculation that he was not in sync with quarterback Tom Brady and the Patriots offense. They were the first healthy scratches of his career.
In three games played, the 37-year-old Galloway had seven catches for 67 yards.
