The New England Patriots have released veteran wide receiver Donte' Stallworth, as part of their roster cuts Monday to get to the league-mandated number of 75 players, according to the Boston Herald.

Stallworth, 31, spent last season with the Washington Redskins and caught 22 passes. He has bounced around the NFL, spending time with the Eagles, Saints, Browns and Ravens as well. He missed the 2009 season serving jail time for the death of a man he hit while driving drunk in Florida.
