Mankins hasn't accepted five-year offer Aaron Wilson
New England Patriots veteran offensive guard Logan Mankins was offered a five-year deal worth roughly $7 million annually this offseason, according to the Boston Globe.
However, he wasn't inclined to accept it an offer that would make him one of the five highest paid guards in the league. The best current guard deal belongs to New Orleans Saints standout Jahri Evans, a seven-year, $56.7 million offer that averages $8.1 million annually.
And now Mankins has said he wants to be traded and has refused to sign his $3.268 million restricted tender.
That has been reduced to $1.54 million.
