Patriots re-sign Austin Collie

The New England Patriots are giving veteran wide receiver Austin Collie another shot.

Collie, 27, was signed by the Patriots on Oct. 3 before being released.

He played in four games with one start for the Patriots and registered three receptions for 34 yards before hurting his knee.

He was released when the Patriots signed wide receiver LaQuan Williams.

The Patriots created a roster spot for Collie by cutting tight end D.J. Williams this week.
