The New England Patriots brought back cornerback Marquice Cole today and cut veteran offensive lineman Josh Kline.

Cole adds depth to the secondary and is highly regarded for his special-teams skills.

Cole was signed after being released Sunday.

Kline is eligible for the practice squad if he clears waivers.
