The New England Patriots have extended the contract of exclusive rights free agent defensive tackle Kyle Love, according to the Boston Globe.
Love is scheduled to make $540,000 as an exclusive rights player this year, and the extension is for 2013. It calls for $3.1 million total with a $500,000 signing bonus.
Love made 13 starts last year for the Patriots after originally joining the team as an undrafted free agent from Mississippi State.
