Kicker receives $14 million deal Aaron Wilson
Rather than wait until after the season, the New England Patriots opted to lock up Pro Bowl kicker Stephen Gostkowski now by signing him to a four-year contract extension worth nearly $14 million.
According to the Boston Herald, Gostkowski received $5 million in guaranteed money and will play this year under his restricted tender of $1.759 million.
Gotskowski has converted a franchise-record 85.1 percent of his field goals, connecting on 103 of 121 kicks.
