The New England Patriots must feel confident in their receiving group.
On Saturday, the organization released receiver Josh Boyce, according to a report from ESPN.com. Boyce was a fourth-round draft pick in 2013.
This offseason, the Patriots brought in Brandon LaFell from Carolina and are looking forward to a healthy Rob Gronkowski to a bigger factor in the passing game. The receiving group also includes Julian Edelman, Danny Amendola, Aaron Dobson and Kenbrell Thompkins.
Boyce does have practice squad eligibility if he clears waivers.
