Hall of Famer putting items up for auction Brad Biggs
Paul Hornung is a regular on the autograph circuit, making regular appearances around the country to sign his name for cash.
Now, Hornung is hawking some of his memorabilia as a Heisman Trophy winner at Notre Dame and Super Bowl winner with the Green Bay Packers.
Hornung will sell some of his possessions through SCP Auctions, which will begin its auction next week. It will run through Dec. 1.
According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Hornung is selling a re-issue of his 1956 Heisman Trophy. Hornung already sold the original and this is an exact replica. He will also sell a Notre Dame class ring as well as re-issued 1961, 1965 and 1966 championship rings with the Packers.
“I've got all my stuff in a drawer somewhere," Hornung said, according to the Journal Sentinel. "I've got enough pictures in my office. That's all I need."
