Indianapolis Colts offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton has removed his name from consideration for the Vanderbilt head coaching search, according to CBS Sports.

Hamilton has drawn praise for his work with Colts quarterback Andrew Luck.

Per the report, Hamilton prefers to remain with the Colts.

Vanderbilt, which is looking for a coach after James Franklin went to Penn State, is also reportedly interested in St. Louis Rams offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer.
