Percy Harvin, Leslie Frazier work to downplay sideline incident

Percy Harvin has had another blowout on the sideline with the Minnesota Vikings and this one was with coach Leslie Frazier.

The wide receiver, who used to feud with Brad Childress, blew up during the second quarter of Sunday’s 30-20 loss at Seattle. He was frustrated after a trip to the red zone resulted in only a field goal. Cameras caught the action.

“I just want to score points," Harvin said, according to Brian Murphy of the St. Paul Pioneer Press. "It's frustrating not scoring. I'm not going to talk about what the coach and I discussed. We had a conversation in the heat of the moment, trying to get things right. That's all it was."

Harvin later suffered an ankle injury in the third quarter and about the only thing the Vikings had going on offense was running back Adrian Peterson as quarterback Christian Ponder completed only 11 of 22 passes for 63 yards.

"We have to be better," Harvin said. "We have to go back to the drawing board and see what is going on, and see what we did wrong. We are kind of one dimensional right now. Adrian is running the ball incredibly. The line is blocking for him real good. We just have to dial up better pass plays."

Frazier, according to the report, also did his best to downplay the incident.

“He wants to win. He was frustrated, as we all were at that moment," Frazier said. "He is a competitor. We're all frustrated. We're all trying to come away with touchdowns, instead of field goals."
