Whatever issue was bugging Percy Harvin in June, he left there.
The Minnesota Vikings wide receiver, who briefly was threatening to be a no-show for training camp in Mankato, Minn., sounds like a happy camper this summer.
“I'm at camp, I'm happy, I'm on board,” Harvin said, according to Mark Craig of the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
Harvin still wouldn’t expand on what had upset him but when a player has an issue in the NFL, 19 times out of 20 it’s related to one thing – money.
"We're all on the same page," he said. "We're all just trying to win around here. I talked to coach (Leslie Frazier). Everything is good around here. So I'm ready to get out there, start sweating and get this thing moving."
We’ll see how long Harvin remains upbeat. For the Vikings’ sake, hopefully it’s a season-long mood. Otherwise, the next rough patch might be a little more bumpy.
