Report is he has migraines following death of grandmother Brad Biggs
Percy Harvin continues to be away from the Minnesota Vikings following the death of his grandmother and it sounds like things are getting a little strained in Mankato, Minn.
We’re not trying to make light of a situation at all where an individual has lost a loved one close to them, but consider the comments coach Brad Childress made today, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune, when asked about Harvin’s status after he missed his 15th consecutive practice. Harvin last was on the field July 31.
“I'm kind of flying in the dark a little bit," Childress said.. "I've talked to people up there but I'll let you know when I know something.”
The Star Tribune reports that Harvin is in Eden Prairie and is believed to be “struggling with migraine headaches,” an issue that cropped up for him last season. The report makes an interesting point. Childress fined wide receiver Troy Williamson a game check in 2007 when he missed a week following the death of his grandmother. He caught serious flak for it and eventually changed his mind and let Williamson keep his money.
“The thing that I've learned is that everybody grieves differently,” Childress said “That's just the fact of it. You've got to be able to respect that and appreciate that."

This stuff happens, didn't cause Terrell Davis to retire, as that actually was the knee injury he sustained while tackling a Jet on an INT - that being said he was always and the donkeys cognizant of this issue with Daivs as well...migraines and nuerological problems are real for damn sure and don't make an NFL players life any easier - and seriously "karma" - give it a rest already - Favre's not the devil, hasn't been sighted hanging with Lucifer or sacrificying any virgins - well lately anyway - that was the "before PG Favre" that's marketed for mass consumption...

Percy Harvin is a special talent, a playmaker, a difference maker. He was subject to migraines - incredibly debliitating traumas - I had a friend in the 70 who was a physician who suffered these and, let me say, you could NEVER play a down if you went into the convulsions he went into. Had to be in a dark quiet room. It was, tp say the least, terrifiying.
