The finger-pointing has begun in Kansas City, and a good bit of it is amed at Chiefs general manager Scott Pioli.

Kent Babb of the Kansas City Star opines that the Chiefs will never win big on Pioli's watch as the GM.

Pioli has had four years to turn the Chiefs around, but with another sluggish start, the nice playoff run of 2010 is beginning to look like a fading memory.

Babb says that the Chiefs embarrassing 35-17 loss at Buffalo and the 0-2 start are Pioli's responsibility more than the players and coaches, because of the way he has constructed and operated the organization.

Time will tell if Babb's opinion is correct on Pioli, but one thing is certain, the GM who was supposed to revitalize the Chiefs organization is on the hook for at least some of the blame for the team's struggles out of the gate.

This is the worst team KC has fielded yet. They need to scrap the whole thing and start over. That includes the coaches and team management.
