Former Kansas City Chiefs general manager Scott Pioli will serve as a studio analyst for NBC's Football Night In America, the network announced on Monday.
Pioli was a member of the front office of the New England Patriots during three of the team's Super Bowl victories, and has more than two decades of experience as a football executive. He will also make appearances on the NBC Sports Network as well.
“Scott is an intelligent, articulate and well-respected NFL front office veteran, who brings a new element to our NFL coverage,” said Sam Flood, executive producer, NBC Sports & NBC Sports Network. “We are thrilled to welcome him to our team. His front-office voice will complement those of our former head coach, former players, and NFL Insiders.”
Pioli says he is excited about his new venture.
“After more than two decades serving in NFL front offices, I’m excited to be part of the coverage of the league by joining NBC Sports’ NFL team and the NBC family,” said Pioli. “I look forward to sharing my experiences of the inner workings of NFL front offices to viewers and fans.”
