Steelers visit struggling Titans for prime time game. Terry McCormick
Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin has already ruled out safety Troy Polamalu for Thursday night's game against the Tennessee Titans.
Tomlin made the announcement on Monday, a day after Polamalu re-aggravated his injured calf in Sunday's win over the Philadelphia Eagles.
Without Polamalu, the Steelers defense is not as dynamic, but against the struggling Titans, it might not matter as Tennessee already has four 20-point losses this season in five games and has allowed 30 points or more in every game this season.
On Sunday in Minnesota, the Titans offense was mundane as well, scoring only seven points after the outcome had already been decided.
