The police are investigating Green Bay Packers cornerback Brandon Underwood for allegedly sexually assaulting two women, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

The newspaper reports that three sources familiar with the case have stated that Underwood is under investigation.

Per the report, seven Packers were at a condo where the two women said the alleged assaults happened.

According to Lake Delton police department Sgt. Gerald Grimsled, the police interviewed six players that were interviewed and released.

The investigation is focused on one player, though, reportedly Underwood,.

Grimsled said that the accused player has said the contact with the women was consensual.

Police stated that the following six players were cleared: quarterback Matt Flynn, safety Khalil Jones, guard Josh Sitton, fullback Korey Hall, and linebackers Brad Jones and Clay Matthews.

"(The) seventh did have contact with the two females," Grimsled said. "We were pretty sure of that. Everybody was cooperative. It comes down to 'was it consensual sex?' One side says yes, the other says no."

According to the Journal-Sentinel, players anonymously said that Underwood has "been a problem" since the team drafted him last year. And cornerbacks coach Joe Whitt remarked last season that Underwood was "immature" during the beginning of his rookie season.

The Packers organization's lone comment so far comes from team spokesman Jeff Blumb, who stated that the team is "aware of the reported incident and still are gathering facts."
