Pond search yields no evidence

A search of a pond and a wooded area by Massachusettes State Police near the home of New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez on Monday turned up no additional evidence, according to USA Today.

Hernandez's home and cars have been part of a probe into the homicide death of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd, an acquaintance of the football star. Lloyd's body was found about a mile from Hernandez's home on Monday, and the two were with each other, along with two other men, in the hours before Lloyd was killed.

The search, according to one investigator, yielded no evidence. The report indicated that the search lasted about one hour.
