Porter experiencing seizure symptoms

Denver Broncos cornerback Tracy Porter was held out of last week's game against the San Diego Chargers because he experienced the same symptoms that occurred just before a seizure he suffered in August.

Porter had light-headedness and his heart was racing before he suffered the seizure two months ago, according to the Denver Post. Those symptoms returned last week, and the decision was made to hold him out against the Chargers.

Porter had a doctor's appointment Thursday as he seeks to gain clearance to play against his old team, the New Orleans Saints, this week.

"I want to play," Porter said. "Who wouldn't want to play against their old team? All I can do is cross my fingers and toes that everything clears out, everything checks out and I'll be able to play Sunday night."
