The Arizona Cardinals are concerned veteran safety Adrian Wilson may be out for quite some time.
Wilson injured his right arm near the bicep and elbow, according to Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic, and there is some fear he may have torn a muscle, an injury that could require surgery. Wilson left the field and was scheduled to undergo an MRI.
The Pro Bowl performer is considered the leader of the Cardinals secondary and his absence would create a significant void. Per the report, the team called veteran Matt Ware to sign him before the practice ended, so that right there is an indication the club believes Wilson could be on the shelf a while.
Arizona might not reveal any news on Wilson for a few days.
