University of North Carolina linebacker Quan Sturdivant is scheduled to have a dinner meeting with the New Orleans Saints this week in Chapel Hill prior to his Pro Day campus workout, according to a league source with knowledge of the situation.

Sturdivant is also scheduled to visit the Buffalo Bills, Minnesota Vikings and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Plus, he has an upcoming private workout with the Atlanta Falcons.

The 6-foot-1, 241-pounder bench pressed 225 pounds 21 times, registering a 34-inch vertical leap and a 9-7 broad jump at the NFL scouting combine.

He didn't run the 40-yard dash, though.

Missing five games last season due to hamstring injury, Sturdivant finished third on the team with 61 tackles and had 8 1/2 tackles for losses with two sacks. He intercepted a pass in the Music City Bowl.

Sturdivant played quarterback and safety in high school.

As a junior, he had 79 tackles, 12 for losses.

As a sophomore, he posted 122 tackles, 5 1/2 for losses, two sacks and two interceptions.
