University of North Carolina linebacker Quan Sturdivant is visiting the Kansas CIty Chiefs today, according to a league source with knowledge of the situation.

He visited the Washington Redskins on Tuesday.

Sturdivant recenty conducted a private workout for the Atlanta Falcons.

He has previously visited the Minnesota Vikings, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Buffalo Bills.

He had a dinner meeting with the New Orleans Saints prior to his Pro Day campus workout.

The 6-foot-1, 241-pounder bench pressed 225 pounds 21 times, registering a 34-inch vertical leap and a 9-7 broad jump at the NFL scouting combine.

Missing five games last season due to hamstring injury, Sturdivant finished third on the team with 61 tackles and had 8 1/2 tackles for losses with two sacks. He intercepted a pass in the Music City Bowl.

Sturdivant played quarterback and safety in high school.

As a junior, he had 79 tackles, 12 for losses.

As a sophomore, he posted 122 tackles, 5 1/2 for losses, two sacks and two interceptions.
