Robert Griffin III spent much of his second season playing tentative, given he was working his way back from a torn ACL.

It resulted in the star quarterback having a down year after a stellar rookie season in 2012 which culminated in a postseason berth for the Redskins.

Working out with quarterback coach Terry Shea in Arizona recently, Griffin appears to be regaining his old form. In an interview with USA Today, Shea said RG3 looks like his old self again.

"He looked 100 [percent] healthy," Shea said. "I didn't let up on him and, boy, he kept coming — and he reminded me of the old Robert Griffin that I knew coming out of Baylor for those eight-10 weeks we worked together in 2012."

Shea told the newspaper that he mainly worked on Griffin's footwork, which looked much improved during their recent sessions together.

"For some reason, [Former Redskins coaches Mike Shanahan and Kyle Shanahan] just dropped the ball on his footwork fundamentals,'' Shea said. "I'm convinced. You get so caught up on schemes and decisions and progressions and they forget that a quarterback needs just as much attention on his footwork and fundamentals as well.''
