RG3 could practice this Wednesday
With Washington's quarterback situation less than desirable at the moment, a bit of good news could be on the horizon.
According to The Washington Post, it's possible that quarterback Robert Griffin III returns to the practice field with clearance this Wednesday. Griffin has been out since Sept. 14, when he dislocated his ankle in a win against the Jaguars.
Washington figured to be in good hands after solid performances from backup Kirk Cousins against Jacksonville and Philadelphia. Since, Cousins has struggled mightily and was replaced by third-stringer Colt McCoy during Sunday's 19-17 win over Tennessee.
Essentially, Washington can't get Griffin back to the playing field fast enough.
