Wheels of justice slow to turn in Washington Brad Biggs
The wheels of justice spin a little more slowly in Washington.
Or at least they did in this particular instance in King County.
Seattle Seahawks defensive end Raheem Brock has been charged with DUI, not particularly noteworthy considering it happens to athletes on a semi-regular basis. But Brock has been charged more than a year after he was arrested.
The Seattle Times reports Brock, who was pulled over Nov. 13, 2010, will be arraigned Dec. 21. Brock refused to take field-sobriety tests but a breathalyzer registered his blood-alcohol level at .133, more than 1.5 times the legal limit. At the police station his BAC was .115 and .111.
Now, he will have this issue to deal with as the season winds to a conclusion.
