It wasn't exactly a shocker that the Oakland Raiders were forced to forfeit two organized team activity practices.

The NFL Management Council and the NFL Players Associaiton determined that the Raiders violated rules governing offseason practices.

Judging from the comments of third-round offensive tackle Jared Veldheer to the Oakland Tribune, things were pretty intense out there.

“Well, it’s a lot of contact right now,” Veldheer said. "Besides that, the run stuff is pretty full go.”

Per the report, there can be no live contact and players can only be on the field for two hours per day.

The Raiders were penalized for violating offseason rules in 2007.

The Baltimore Ravens were punished earlier this week and forfeited their final week of OTAs.

Veldheer simply commented on the positive intensity.

This kid's no snitch. He's honest but no snitch. Toughest player I have seen ever at Hillsdale College. Any problem with the comment needs to be directed to the Raiders' handlers and education of young players.

Get your facts right Aaron Wilson. What is this world coming to when people can't even fact check before they put someone down. Veldheer is not a snitch...If you take two different interviews that were spread out by three months and join sentances from both to make-up that quote then I guess he did say it.

I would expect more from you Mr Wilson. Lets see the formal appology.

You have to thank Jared because he should say it out loud if the practice sessions are hard. Besides the point of practicing is to perform good in the field where it matters. When you practice too hard there will be consequences for the players. That is the reason why these rules where made in the first place right? And I have to agree with Andy he is not a snitch he is simply being honest.
