Oakland not sure if Leinart or Pryor will start season finale. Terry McCormick
Carson Palmer's season is over for the Oakland Raiders after he spent Sunday night in a hospital because of broken ribs and a bruised lung suffered on a hit by Greg Hardy of the Carolina Panthers.
Coach Dennis Allen is not ready to name Palmer's replacement for the season finale against the San Diego Chargers, as he has Matt Leinart and Terrelle Pryor as his options. Leinart finished up Sunday in the loss to the Panthers.
"Our plan right now is to work both of them this week," Allen told the Oakland Tribune, "and then we'll see how practice goes. Later in the week, we'll be ready to name a starter."
