Ted Gilmore leaving Trojans to join new staff in Oakland. Terry McCormick
The Oakland Raiders have dipped into the college ranks to find their new wide receivers coach, luring Ted Gilmore away from the University of Southern California.
Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times reported that Gilmore will make the move, just one year after joining Lane Kiffin' staff at USC. This is Gilmore's first venture in to the NFL, as he joins the new staff being put together by new Raiders head coach Dennis Allen.
Gilmore is the second Trojans assistant to leave for the NFL in recent weeks, as USC linebackers coach Joe Barry took a position with the San Diego Chargers last week.
