The Oakland Raiders shuffled their roster, promoting cornerback Chance Casey, safety Shelton Johnson and linebacker Marshall McFadden to the active roster from the practice squad..

They cut defensive lineman Brian Sanford and placed safety Usama Young and linebacker Kaluka Maiava on injured reserve.

Young played in 12 games with one start, recording 27 tackles,  2.5 sacks, one interception and two passes defensed. He also added six special teams tackles.

Maiava appeared in nine games with oen start, recording 25 tackles.
